– The Mezhrabpom film production company is established with financial and technical support from the German communist group Internationale Arbeitshilfe (International Workers' Aid).  The group also establish a German-Soviet distribution agency, Prometheus, in Berlin. [ADD]

     
   

– The Association of Revolutionary Cinematography (ARC) is founded in Moscow by Sergei Eisenstein and Lev Kuleshov, amongst others. [ADD]
