Serbia

   

 

   

A Films Section of the National Liberation Army of Serbia is established.   Headed by Rados Novakovic, its main task is to make the country’s surviving cinemas operational, and to arrange the screening of selected films as a contribution to cultural life. [ADD]

   

 

   

Following the liberation of Belgrade, the Film Section at the General Staff of the National Liberation Army and Partisan units of Serbia becomes the Film Section of the Supreme Command of NLA and PUY. [ADD]

   

 

   

The State Film Enterprise is established by the Agency for Commerce and Industry of the Federal Government of the Democratic Federal Yugoslavia (FDY).   Its main tasks are to restore the country’s cinema network and control acquisition of new films. [ADD]
