Spielberg Resigns

In a statement announcing his withdrawal as artistic director fir the Beijing Olympics, Spielberg said, ‘Sudan's government bears the bulk of the responsibility for these ongoing crimes, but the international community, and particularly China, should be doing more to end the continuing suffering there.’  

China provided Sudan with nearly all its oil and therefore was, in the words of political activists, ‘underwriting genocide.’ [ADD]
