Chi Bi Stuntman Killed

Stuntman Lu Yanqing died while a second-unit was filming a scene for the £40 million historical epic Chi Bi (Red Cliff) in which two boats crash into one another early on the morning of Monday 9^th June. One of the boats caught fire, leading rescue teams to suspect that gas cylinders aboard one the boat may accidentally have been ignited.   Three other people were also injured.

Director John Woo and the film’s star Tony Leung were not at the scene. [ADD]
