Fitna's Internet Ban

Visitors to the website on which Geert Wilder planned to screen his anti-Koran film Fitna were greeted by a notice stating that the site was under investigation for possible violations of US-based web service Network Solution’s acceptable use policy.   While Wilders responded that ‘If need be, I will personally distribute DVDs in the Dam,’ the Washington Post recorded that ‘it may be the first documented case of Internet pre-censorship by a major U.S.-based Web registrar.’
