On 21st September 2010, the Russian Government presented the US Library of Congress with digitally preserved copies of 10 silent films previously believed to have been lost forever.   Incredibly, the films had resided for over eighty years in the vaults of the Gosfilmofond, the Russian film archive, before being dusted off and spruced up ready for presenting to the Library of Congress.   The ten recovered films are as follows:

The Conquest of Canaan (1921)

Kick In (1922)

The Call of the Canyon (1923)

Canyon of the Fools (1923)

Circus Days (1923)

The Eternal Struggle (1923)

The Arab (1924)

Keep Smiling (1925)
