Film Awards Winners
Presentation of the 23rd
European Film Awards took place in Tallin, Estonia - the European
Capital of Culture 2011 - on Saturday 4th December 2010. Winners
were voted for by more than 2,300 members of the
European Film Academy, filmmakers from across Europe.
Roman Polanski, whose film
The Ghost Writer won six awards including
European Director, gave his acceptance speech via a skype connection as
a US warrant for his request was still in place outside of France,
Switzerland and Poland.
