12/2/2011: 8th Irish Film & Television Awards Winners

The 8^th annual Irish Film and Television Awards were held on Saturday 12^th February 2011 at Dublin’s National Convention Centre and broadcast live on Irish TV.    The ceremony was hosted by Simon Delaney who, referring to the fact that Brendan Gleeson and his sons Domhnall and Brian had received several nominations between them, joked that the ceremony should be re-named ‘The Gleesons.’   Despite their abundance of nominations, Domhnall was the only Gleeson to win an award.
